Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DataCrew ("the Service"), operated by DataCrew ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DataCrew is a data analytics platform for small and medium-sized businesses. The Service allows you to connect data sources (file uploads, Xero, Shopify, SQL databases), auto-clean data, run AI-powered analysis, build dashboards, and generate PDF reports.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

  • Free Plan: Limited AI analysis credits per month. No payment required.
  • Pro Plan: Increased limits, billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Growth Plan: Expanded analysis limits, priority support. Billed monthly.

All fees are in USD and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Refund Policy

Since DataCrew offers a free tier, we generally do not provide refunds for paid subscriptions. However, if you experience a significant service outage or billing error, you may request a refund within 14 days of the charge by contacting support@yourdatacrew.com. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you upload or connect to DataCrew. We do not sell your data. We access your data solely to provide the Service (cleaning, analysis, dashboards). You may delete your data at any time. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws.
  • Upload malicious files, malware, or attempt to compromise the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service.

8. Third-Party Integrations

DataCrew integrates with third-party services including Xero, Shopify, and cloud databases. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability or data practices of third-party services. OAuth tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataCrew shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.
